Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
TaxEase Pakistan (“we”, “our”) provides online tax consultancy services in Pakistan. Because our work involves your financial and tax documents, protecting your information is central to how we operate. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and how we keep it safe.
Information We Collect
When you contact us or use our services, we may collect:
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and city
- Messages — anything you send us through our contact form, WhatsApp, or email
- Tax and business documents — such as your CNIC, salary certificates, bank statements, business registration papers, and other documents needed to complete your tax work
- Website usage data — basic, anonymous information about how visitors use our site (pages viewed, device type), collected through standard analytics tools
We only ask for documents that are actually needed for the service you’ve requested.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiries and provide free consultations
- Prepare and file your tax registrations, returns, and related applications with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and other relevant authorities — only with your knowledge and approval
- Keep your books and records as part of our bookkeeping services
- Send you service updates, deadline reminders, and compliance alerts
- Improve our website and services
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
Who We Share It With
Your information is shared only where necessary:
- With FBR and government portals (such as FBR IRIS and SECP eServices) — only the specific details required for your filings, and only after you’ve approved the submission
- With trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, website hosting or messaging tools) — limited to what’s needed for them to do their job
- When required by law — if a Pakistani court or authority legally compels disclosure
We never share your documents for marketing purposes.
How We Protect Your Information
- Documents you share are stored securely with restricted access — only team members working on your case can see them
- We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website
- WhatsApp and email communications are handled with the care you’d expect for financial documents, but please avoid sending highly sensitive originals unless we specifically ask
How Long We Keep It
We keep your records for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal requirements. Pakistan’s tax law generally requires keeping tax records for six years, so we retain client tax files for at least that period unless you ask us to handle them differently.
Your Rights
You can at any time:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong
- Ask us to delete your information, where we’re not legally required to keep it
- Withdraw your consent for us to process your data (though this may mean we can’t complete your tax work)
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page with a revised date. Significant changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
